A 6-part live filmmaking masterclass for authors
who want to create a two-minute generative
proof of concept film to showcase their novels.
A 6 part live masterclass
Designed for authors who are ready to bring their novels
to life, this immersive masterclass gives you the tools,
workflow, and creative direction to produce stunning AI-
generated proof of concept films without a crew or studio.
The future of storytelling
and the generative film
opportunity.
Build your world visually
with tools that inspire
and scale.
Generate characters
and direct performances
that feel real.
Maintain continuity,
tone, and narrative
momentum.
Shape your story with
rhythm, pacing, and
emotional arc.
Create a proof of concept
that opens doors and
gets attention.
Anyone can generate a good-looking shot now. What Trevor knows, you can’t prompt your way into. He created a trailer for Yesterday’s Gone, a series Dave Wright and I wrote, and it looks like the inside of my head. It moves like a studio paid for it.
You’ll master three proprietary skills – Prism, Persistence,
and Retrieval – and gain the working knowledge to
create film in the right way.

Your instructor:
Trevor Crafts is an Emmy-winning producer
and author with 30 years of experience
bringing stories to the screen.
He created The Kiln to give authors
exactly what they need to turn the worlds
they’ve written into films others
can see and believe in.
Your story deserves
more than imagination.
It deserves momentum.
This is not about shortcuts.
It’s about strategy, story, and cinematic
execution. You’ll learn how to collaborate
with AI as a creative partner—ethically,
intentionally, and powerfully.
You don’t need to be technical.
You need to be ready.
How the class runs, what it costs, and how to pay.
Authors with a finished manuscript. You bring the book, and over six live sessions you turn it into a proof of concept film.
No. Every session after the first opens with a review of what you made since the last one, then walks you through the next tool step by step.
Six live sessions of 2.5 to 3 hours each, plus an onboarding session where you set up your accounts. Each group has ten authors, and a new group starts every week.
Claude, Midjourney, and Higgsfield are the primary tools. You will need to set up accounts for each service and generative credits are not included in the masterclass price.
A two-minute proof of concept film built from your novel, plus the three Kiln skills to keep using after class and the knowledge to replicate the system.
